Fungal Nail can be one of the most frustrating foot conditions, in that it can be extremely difficult to get rid of so people end up just resigning themselves to simply unhappily putting up with it.
Lots of fungal nail sufferers find they really don’t like the look of it and are embarrassed to show their feet, even to their own family, let alone friends, or in public.
They dread going to yoga classes or the swimming pool and having their feet on show, or wearing sandals if it’s hot in the summer, and in some cases it can completely stop them from doing these activities at all!
Some of our patients report having hidden their feet for years before coming to see us!
In the past treating fungal nail involved either:
1. Applying nail lacquers bought from the chemist for months, with some trials putting success rates for this method as low as 22%
2. Getting tablets from the GP which can have serious side effects and yet still have low success rates with some clinical trials putting success rates at less than 50%
But it doesn’t have to be that way now! Leading technology means fungal nail can be treated without side effects, with much much higher success rates in a clinical setting.

"EXCELLENT. The PACT treatment really works and ended up costing less than the over-the-counter so-called remedies from the chemist. The staff are lovely and the offices bright and clean. Couldn't recommend it enough."

"I came to the clinic with fungal nail infection in 2 toe nails and then received pact treatment on both nails. It has been well worthwhile as it has been successful so far. After treating the infection at home topically with prescription medication for several years this had been both tedious and unsuccessful. I am delighted that my nails now look healthy."
Ann Thomas
"After decades of seeing a fungal toenail deteriorate and spread to 2 other toes, I saw an advert for the foot clinic ...From the initial examination of my feet to the final appointment, I received lots of informative advice, knowledge of the condition and the factors which lead to infection, treating shoes, socks, bedclothes, how parts of the feet work etc. I asked loads of questions all of which were answered. The treatment was successful...I would certainly recommend the clinic to others."
